I recently hunted for Gambel’s quail with Robby. Although he related it wasn’t a great year for Gambel’s, we were in birds all day, every day! If this was a poor year for Gambel’s, a good year would have completely worn out my dog and my guns!

Robby, was the consummate host and within a few minutes after meeting him, you know he’s the kind of guy you’re going to enjoy as a hunting partner. He is very knowledgeable about the birds and the habitat. We hunted a variety of covers and had a great time. This was my little FB’s first Gambel’s quail hunt; she had opportunity after opportunity to locate, point, and retrieve these crafty, running quail. What a great hunting and training experience! Robby is a gentleman, sportsman, and a great family man. I feel fortunate to call him a new “friend” and look forward to hunting with him in the future either in AZ or somewhere else along the wingshooter’s journey!

Had an amazing time with Stagecoach Pointers in Surprise, AZ. We booked a quail hunt in later January and the conditions were incredible but a little chilly for Arizona. Robby and his GSP did a magnificent job finding birds, the cold may have changed the quail’s habits some but Robby and dog company worked hard to find birds. Saw decent action in the half day hunt and we were excited to get into birds quickly

He went above and beyond to make sure my pup, a three and half year old French Brittany could hunt as well — super accommodating and a great guy to hunt with, very personable

We recommend him and will attempt to get on the list for a next year’s hunt!
